So, what do you think of her dream house? Could you live so simply? If not that much, how much would you be willing to give up for a healthier planet? What could you live without?
Interesting video. I'm curious to see where she keeps her food and clothing. I admit that I don't do nearly enough to minimize my footprint. I would like to be better about it, but haven't figured out how to ease myself and my family into it.
I lived in a 6 ft by 16 ft metal hootch for a year. Essentially a shipping container with a door, window and air conditioner/heater. I didn't have to cook there. It was a very nice, rewarding experience. I think it was probably only tolerable, however, because I knew it wasn't forever. Otherwise my home improvement instincts would have kicked in.
Living simply was quite nice, and I didn't find myself wishing I had "stuff" around.

That is so sweet. It seems like you'd have troubles with The Man though. Taxes or permits or something . . .?
